The apartment was spacious but with a few furniture showing their age, and with a loose toilet seat, it's hardly a luxury apartment. The location is excellent, right beside Hyde Park in the middle of Mayfair, within easy walking distance from many interesting restaurants, bars, and shopping spots. However, the stay was not as grand or high spec as expected, especially regarding some discrepancies in the building layout and the elevator size.
My stay at 17 Hertford street was a mixed experience. The rooms, although spacious with a king-size bed, new firm mattress, and nice linens, didn't look very nice and were in serious need of maintenance. The service provided was helpful, but it was a bit inconvenient that it was located in another building. The location was fabulous, just two minutes from Hyde Park, but some aspects didn't meet expectations. The dining options were limited, and the overall experience was not as grand as hoped. However, the prime location in the heart of Mayfair was a definite highlight.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Mayfair, just a stone's throw away from Hyde Park, making it a prime location for exploring the city. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, although some furniture shows signs of age. The staff is friendly and helpful.
